Mr. Goncalves graduated from the Leonard N. Stern School of Busines at New York University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and International Business, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Since his admission to the New York State Bar in 2000, Mr. Goncalves has represented hundreds of clients in personal injury matters. He has focused his practice in the areas of wrongful death, motor vehicle, construction site and premises liability cases. He has litigated and recovered settlements for clients against numerous municipalities involving cases of defective sidewalks and roadways, wrongful imprisonment and prison abuse or neglect. Mr. Goncalves is multilingual and converses with clients in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Nassau County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the Federal Courts of the Eastern District of New York.
