Alan M. Shapey has been practicing exclusively in the area of personal injury trials for over twenty years. He specializes in municipal liability, automotive product defects, and lead poisoning cases.

Mr. Shapey has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts, including $50,000,000 for a child who suffered lead poisoning; $42,000,000 for a 12-year-old-boy who sustained brain damage when struck by a car due to the failure of The City of New York to install a traffic control device, and a $9,300,000 verdict for a man who fell from a subway platform and was struck by a train.

One of his most recent verdicts was for $9,5000,000 against Hyundai Motor Company, for the family of a woman who died as a result of the defective design of the automatic seat belt in a 1993 Hyundai Sonata.
